Private Properties
A place for relaxation

Extend your visit to Canberra by experiencing an Australian farm stay on a beautiful and historic property. Overnight accommodation includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is simple, fresh and prepared with local ingredients where possible.

The farm is surrounded by rugged bushland and set on the Shoalhaven River, a favourite subject of Arthur Boyd, Australia's best-known contemporary artist.

You will walk in the bush-covered hills with their white gum forests; swim in the river; relax in the history-filled house (built in 1830) or make friends with a pet kangaroo.

The exceptional gardens surrounding the homestead were chosen for the Australian entry in a book entitled 'The Best Gardens Around the World'.
